Build More Than a Job. Create a Future.

Some people want to learn a trade, lead a crew, and build something they can be proud of.
At Cantey Foundation Specialists, we're looking for people who are ready to take the next step. As a Foreman in Training, you'll learn how to run jobs, lead a crew, and create solutions that protect homeowners' biggest investment.

This isn't a clipboard position.

You'll be under houses, in crawl spaces, solving problems, making decisions, and learning what it takes to become a respected Foreman.

The Job

  • Work side-by-side with experienced Crew Leaders
  • Learn how to lead a crew and run a jobsite
  • Install foundation and crawl space repair systems
  • Crawl under homes and work in tight spaces
  • Operate tools and equipment
  • Travel to different jobs and tackle new challenges
  • Help create a great experience for every customer
  • Develop the skills needed to lead your own crew
This Is Where Leaders Get Built

People who want to learn how to run jobs, make decisions, solve problems, and eventually lead a crew of their own.

That's why this position combines hands-on construction work with leadership development.
Every day brings a different challenge. One house may need structural support. Another may need a crawl space transformed from a problem area into a permanent solution.

You'll spend your days working beneath homes, operating equipment, learning from experienced leaders, and developing skills that will stay with you for life.

The goal isn't to stay a Foreman in Training forever. The goal is to earn responsibility, and create a path into leadership through hard work and results. At Cantey, the best leaders don't stand back and point. They jump in, solve problems, and help their crew win.

Physical Demands
This is a hands-on leadership position.

You'll regularly:
  • Crawl, kneel, squat, bend, and maneuver through crawl spaces
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment
  • Dig, shovel, and perform physically demanding work
  • Work in hot, humid, dusty, muddy, and confined environments
  • Stay active throughout the workday
  • Lead from the front by working alongside your crew
What You Get
$28/hour starting pay
Production bonuses after training
Clear path to Foreman
Monday-Friday schedule
Company-provided gear and PPE
Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
401(k) with company match
Paid Time Off
Hands-on leadership training
Real opportunities to advance

Who We're Looking For
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic
  • Reliable and coachable
  • Comfortable with physical labor
  • Wants more responsibility
  • Wants to lead, not follow forever
  • Valid driver's license

Expected Travel
This position requires travel to job sites throughout the state and surrounding areas. Team members should be comfortable with daily travel and occasional overnight stays.
