Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and certified Ford Transmission Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with transmission systems, diagnostics, and repairs. As a Ford Certified Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing transmissions in Ford vehicles, ensuring the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Ford transmission systems. • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions. • Conduct routine inspections of transmissions to catch faults before they become major problems. • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ford training and implement best practices in diagnostics and repair. • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on vehicle status. • Maintain detailed repair records and parts usage for each vehicle serviced.
Requirements: Minimum Requirement: • 3 years Ford Certified Transmission Technician • Proven experience as an automotive technician specializing in transmission repairs, preferably with Ford vehicles. • Strong knowledge of automotive transmission systems and components. • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
