Trinity Alps Unified School District is accepting applications for the position of Food Technician. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the general direction of the Cafeteria Manager, prepare, cook and serve food in the daily breakfast and lunch program; perform other related duties as assigned. This is a 8 hour a day position.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to training and experience that could likely provide knowledge, skills and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to gain knowledge, skills and abilities required of this position would be: High school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of food preparation and kitchen practices, paid work experience in food service operations, preferably including baking, experience in all aspects of food production process, quantity cooking and large-scale food handling practices.
Documents needed: Letter of Application Completed application form Current resume Two letters of recommendation Upon offer of employment, the following will be required. DOJ/FBI (fingerprints) clearance, a pre-employment physical and drug test and a required TB clearance.
