Position Description & Details
Assists with routine food preparation and serving (i.e., preparing salads, making sandwiches, etc.) as needed.
Assists with catering preparation and setup.
Assists in the production of Grab N Go grocery meals and stocking as needed.
Assists in maintaining the dishwasher and the dish return area.
Operates the cash register in recording the sale of food items.
Operates various kitchen equipment and cleaning equipment.
Assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of the work area.
Assists with the arranging and cleaning of dining tables.
Assists in the preparation and setup for banquets, special dinners, or events.
Maintains required safety and health standards.
Supports innovation, creativity, and ideas to improve/enhance processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the college.
Performs other duties as required or assigned

Continuously - 66-100% - Use hands dexterously, talk or hear.
Frequently - 34-65% - Stand, walk, or sit.
Occasionally - 1-33% - Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop/kneel/crouch or crawl, or lift up to 50 pounds.
Minimum Requirements
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Requires attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED.
Food service experience.
