Overview:

 

Retail Supervisor must function as part of the management team, providing the first level of supervision for the culinary and food service assistant personnel. The retail supervisor will execute the following production areas: Retail food production, staff supervision, cooking to quality standards and sanitation. Supervisor must also be able to follow cash handling procedures, invoicing, scheduling and other administrative tasks as assigned. This leader will demonstrate constructive, positive, professional behavior at all times. Major emphasis is on the culinary areas and sanitation with secondary duties in other department areas.

Certification Requirements: ServSafe required – sanitation *willing to let obtain within first 6 months of employment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:

••• Microsoft Outlook

••• Meditech (if applicable to position)

••• Epic (if applicable to position)

••• Performance Manager/NetLearning Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must possess skills in Ordering, scheduling, P&L

Other Requirements: Must be able to accurately type 30 WPM

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Education and Work Experience:
    • Must possess high school diploma or GED
    • A degree is culinary is preferred
    • 3 years of direct supervision experience in a kitchen
    • Prior high volume food service and people management skills

Min: USD $20.32/Hr. Max: USD $33.53/Hr. Salary Information: Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications. Benefits:
