Evaluated By: Director of Food Service

Job Summary: Responsible for keeping accurate records for Food Service employees responsible for all aspects of accounting and generating reports.

Employment Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent • Technology skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and New World Systems • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent customer service skills, ability to resolve problems with internal and external customers • Experience with Free and Reduced Lunch applications

Secondary cross trained with 12 month secretary

Job Duties: • Monitor and assist with all Food Service employee records • Process and verify Food Service invoices and new purchases (Gordon Food Service invoices to be processed within 10 days of invoice for discount) • Maintain sub list • Update Food Service website as needed • Distribute communications regarding Free and Reduced applications within the first week of July • Update Direct Certification students via State download a minimum of 4 times per year • Handle the Verification Process of Free and Reduced applications (which start October 1 and ends November 15 of each year, reports results of the verification are due by middle of December of same year)

Essential Job Duties: • Prepare state reports including reimbursement claims monthly and financial reports on a monthly basis • Balance cash and make deposits daily at the high school • Balance revenue with Corporation Treasurer • Assist with coordinating cashier subs and openings as needed • Maintain POS alerts • Review negative lunch accounts and take appropriate actions • Type documents/bills as requested by Director • Training of cashiers • Maintain communications of Horizon Software • Maintain menu updates and new product items • Completes Cashier Audits for all schools within HCCSC by February 1st • Assists with communication and organization of the Summer Feeding Program • Maintains POS records for all schools • Completes all Safe School Training assigned • Maintains all aspects of the Classified Employee Handbook • Performs all other responsibilities as assigned by the Food Service Director
