Position Overview:Bismarck State College is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Food Service Cashier to join our campus dining team. The Food Service Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers, and supporting daily food service operations. Key Responsibilities:Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.Accurately process cash, credit card, and campus ID payments using the point-of-sale system.Assist with maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including dining and serving areas.Restock beverages, snacks, and other items as needed.Collaborate with the food service team to ensure smooth operations.Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and food handling standards. Minimum Requirements
Good organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.Good working knowledge of office procedures.Good interpersonal and customer service skills in communicating and working with students, employees, and the public.Must observe established health and safety requirements of a food service operation.Excellent computer software skills (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, etc., email and electronic calendar), strong internet familiarity, and excellent keyboarding skills.
