Overview We are looking for a Food Service Business Developer for our new Business Unit. Food Ventures is a newly created E2E business unit, set up to drive PepsiCo's strategic expansion into the Meals category. Reporting to the Sales & Execution FV Lead for Spain, these roles are newly created with the potential to grow in scope and responsibility as the business unit scales. These 2 positions in Barcelona & Madrid will play a critical role in progressing the development and execution of AFH-based (Away From Home) food solutions for the Independents channel within a selected Megacity (Barcelona and Madrid). The Food Service Business Developers are responsible for identifying, closing, and activating new business opportunities. We seek proactive, resilient, and ambitious professionals with strong negotiation skills. As this are pioneering roles within a new unit, we are looking for someone with a growth mindset and proven experience in the Food Service sector. Responsibilities Lead negotiations with customers for Food Venture portfolio. Ownership and accountability for route P&L performance. Ensure excellence in point-of-sale execution. Monitor and report sales performance on a regular basis Work with your Manager to define channel strategy and accelerate acquisition opportunities. Align with other internal sales teams and key support functions to provide a best-in-class and timely response to new customer needs. Qualifications Commercial experience in similar position of at least 3 years. Negotiation skills to close deals in a timely manner. High knowledge of the independent Foodservice channel. Knowledge of new customer acquisition operations as well as an extensive network of contacts in the sector. Resilience and positive attitude. Strong ability to convince and communicate clear messages. Genuine interest in gastronomy and food trends. Agile, proactive startup mindset. Motivation, ambition and desire for development. Valid driving license.
