POSITION: Food Service Assistant Tier II (6 hours/day, 30 hours/week)
LOCATION: Dr. Norman Crisp Elementary School
STARTING: 2026-2027 School Year
SALARY RANGE: Depending on experience and/or SNA Certification, Minimum starting salary $16.40 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in food handling and cashiering experience desirable.
- Must be physically capable of performing duties, which include the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry, with assistance, objects weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of food service and cleaning related products
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aid in preparation and serving of food; requires ability to handle money and count back change.
- Assist with clean up in food service areas and equipment.
- Familiarity with sound safety and health practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Cook, Site Coordinator or Director of Food Service.
