We are currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Services Assistant to join our team! As the Food & Nutrition Services Assistant, you will perform a variety of tasks including deliver, pick up of patient trays and menus, record patient consumption, record delivery, and pick up times, maintaining current diet checklists and completing related daily reports. What you will do in this role:
· You will perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food.
· You will prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items.
· You will operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
· You will clean kitchen work areas, collect and dispose of garbage.
· You will assist with food stocking.
· You will serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient room.
· You will work in the dish room when needed.
· You will work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
· You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
