Qualifications:
Previous serving experience is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation is required.
Positive interpersonal skills are required.
Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Some Responsibilities Include:
Smiling and welcoming Guests to Dog & Duck!
Helping Guests navigate the menu, suggesting appropriate food and drink options.
Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
Providing above-average Guest service by anticipating the Guests' needs and going above and beyond.
Promptly address Guest service issues and involves Management when necessary.
Keeping your section clean and performing other basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the Manager.
Adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Contributing to the team effort by helping out where needed and keeping a positive attitude.
Adhering to grooming and appearance standards.
Above all, making Guests feel welcome and taken care of.

At all times, Servers are expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.
The right person will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our Guests. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Server in a busy, fast-paced restaurant setting. However, experience is not required as we are happy to train a candidate with the right attitude.
