Our client is seeking a Food Scientist to join their Plant-Based Proteins R&D team in Omaha, Nebraska.

As a Food Scientist, reporting to the R&D Manager, you will develop new products from concept to commercialization, design and conduct plant trials, and create prototypes. You will manage project schedules, maintain accurate records, and work with pilot plant equipment.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field, 3+ years of industry experience in food product development (preferably with plant-based or meat proteins), knowledge of formulation, process design, and commercialization. Strong project management, communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Physical requirements involve working in manufacturing environments, using tools and equipment, and travel up to 30%. Excellent benefits and relocation assistance are provided.
