This full-time role involves creating and modifying product recipes, preparing samples, and managing documentation to ensure accurate formulas and nutritional information.

  • Conducts sensory evaluations and evaluates ingredients to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

  • Oversees R&D lab activities, manages supplies, trains technicians, and maintains organized lab operations.

  • Runs plant tests, troubleshoots production issues, and develops product specifications and shelf-life studies.

  • Supports quality systems, collaborates with vendors, and participates in cross-functional teams for product development and technical resolution.

  • Works with sales and marketing on customer samples and product requests, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field, with 2+ years of food industry experience, preferably in bakery.

  • Must have strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, with physical ability to perform lab and plant tasks.

  • Bi-lingual ability (Spanish) is a plus. The position involves working in both office and production environments with some allergens present.
