Food Safety Sanitation Specialist
Location: Ixonia, Wisconsin
Pay: $22.50/hour
Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3rd shift)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
A Night in the Life
Your shift begins as most people wind down. You suit up in PPE, review priorities, and then move through production areas to ensure every surface and piece of equipment is spotless and safe for the next day’s run. You’ll carefully disassemble machinery to access hard-to-reach spaces, apply approved cleaning chemicals per procedure, and reassemble equipment with precision so operations start on time.
Throughout the night, you sanitize kettles, totes, pipes, walls, and other production equipment. You also keep common spaces—like lunchrooms, hallways, offices, and restrooms—clean and ready. When issues arise, you partner with Shipping to coordinate access, Quality to verify standards, and Maintenance to address mechanical concerns. You log concerns immediately and keep supervisors informed so nothing is missed.
