Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support QA Technicians on 2nd shift within a food manufacturing facility
Ensure compliance with HACCP, HARPC, BRC, GMP, USDA, and food safety protocols
Conduct plant walk-throughs, inspections, and internal audits to maintain quality standards
Assist with preparation and execution of third-party and customer audits
Review production and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance
Support employee training related to food safety, GMPs, sanitation, and compliance
Track, trend, and analyze quality data to identify improvement opportunities
Prepare non-conformance reports and assist with corrective/preventive actions
Help implement and enforce plant policies, SOPs, and quality procedures
Oversee calibration and proper handling of QA testing equipment

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or related field)
Experience within food manufacturing quality assurance/food safety environments
Working knowledge of HACCP, HARPC, BRC, GMP, USDA, and audit processes
Prior leadership or supervisory experience within QA/Food Safety preferred
Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Experience with data tracking, trending, and compliance reporting
