Seeking an experienced Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager for a poultry processing plant.
Responsible for leading all FSQA functions to ensure product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, including HACCP, GFSI standards, and USDA interactions.
Develops and implements processes, oversees staff development, and leads continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools like Safety Chain.
Collaborates with corporate and plant teams, maintains documentation, and ensures staff training on FSQA programs.
Requires 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food safety, HACCP certification, knowledge of poultry processing, and a bachelor’s degree in food science or related fields.
Position involves working in moist, variable temperature environments with exposure to chemicals and noise, requiring safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
