Responsibilities:
- Set up expo window area according to Nelson’s standards
- Be able to take instruction from the Chef working the line
- Assure all items are delivered and prepared as orders are requested to guest specifications
- Maintain consistency of food item presentation
- Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
- Set up trash cans, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
- Pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs
- Ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
- Set up heat lamps or umbrellas per a guests request
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests` service needs
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, etc.
- Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Perform related duties as required
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
Qualifications:
- Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
- Must be able to speak, comprehend, and read English
- Must have strong communication skills
- Ability to implement and uphold service standards
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
Experience, Education, & Licensure:
- High School diploma preferred
- Food Handler’s Card needed
Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $16.90/hr.
