Food Production Packaging Technician — Bakery Operations

A day in the life

Step onto our floor in Racine, WI and you’ll feel the energy. As a Food Production Packaging Technician in our bakery operations, you’ll start your shift by prepping your station, reviewing product specs, and confirming labels and packaging materials. As trays of fresh baked goods arrive, you’ll carefully package each item so it looks as good as it tastes—then verify labels match our standards and company guidelines. You’ll keep your area clean and organized to support safety and efficiency, check in with teammates to hit production goals, and alert your supervisor right away if you notice any packaging defects or product issues. You’ll also take part in training sessions to keep your techniques sharp and your safety knowledge current.

What you’ll do

• Package a variety of baked products accurately and efficiently while meeting quality and presentation standards.
• Apply and verify labels to ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
• Maintain a tidy, organized workspace that supports safety and productivity.
• Work closely with team members to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
• Identify and report packaging defects or product concerns promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training on packaging methods and safety protocols.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in packaging or production is helpful, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
