Role snapshot
As the Food Processing Line Supervisor, you’ll steer daily production on the floor, align resources, and ensure every product meets our standards for safety, quality, and delivery.
What you’ll lead
- Team Leadership: Guide production teams and Assistant Supervisors; set expectations; give feedback; recognize wins.
- Performance: Hit output targets while minimizing waste and downtime; analyze bottlenecks and fix root causes.
- Food Safety & Quality: Enforce GMPs and quality checks across each run—no compromises.
- Workforce Management: Schedule labor, coordinate tasks, monitor attendance, and balance workloads.
- Culture: Model accountability, clear communication, and collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Results: Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Shipping to meet goals.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement changes that lift productivity and efficiency.
- Environment: Keep the floor safe, organized, and audit-ready.
Must-haves
- Leadership experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred).
- Strong communicator with solid problem-solving skills.
- Comfort leading in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.
- Background in scheduling, staffing, and developing teams.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s preferred.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
