Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC. ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, is a campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is a full-service 83 bed hospital located in the charming waterfront community of Washington, N.C. The hospital has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center and is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. 

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day patient services operations;
  • successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff;
  • deliver high quality food services in patient meal management operations
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships 
  • develop strategic plans
  • ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
  • have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;
  • create a positive environment;
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met

What You Bring

  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies;

  • knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets;
  • experience with oversight of diet offices; and/or
  • strong management skills, preferably in health care.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
