Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a FoodOperations Manager 2 for Hendry County Schools in LaBelle, FL. This role provides hands-on operational leadership for daily food service operations, ensuring the effective management, development, and performance of the food service team. Working in close partnership with the General Manager, the Food Operations Manager will execute and sustain Sodexo programs, systems, and procedures while driving consistency, quality, and efficiency. This position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of excellence and maintaining high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction across the district.

What You Bring

  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively 
  • have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance 
  • can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service 
  • prior K-12 experience is preferred
  • prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
