POSITION SUMMARY St. Vincent de Paul of Georgia operates a large client choice food pantry that serves over 700 households per month to our neighbors in need. Under the direction of the Food Market Manager, the Food Market Assistant Manager will work in collaboration with volunteers and staff to oversee the day-to-day activities of the food pantry to include distributing food, inventory, stocking of the pantry, picking up donated food and essential non-food items, unloading deliveries, training and supervision of volunteers. Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in an in-person work environment during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. The position may involve exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying environmental conditions typical of warehouse, grocery store or donor processing operations.
