Are you a sharp, persuasive seller who can build real relationships through a phone, a screen, and a well-crafted email? BGD Promo is hiring a Foodservice Distributor Sales Representative to grow our footprint across the East Coast - primarily through virtual selling, supported by smart, targeted travel.

YOUR MISSION
Run an East Coast distributor territory from our Baltimore office through a smart mix of phone, video, email, and CRM-driven outreach. Build trusted relationships at scale, train DSRs virtually, run engaging product demos over video, and selectively show up in person for the trade shows and meetings that matter most. This is modern selling - with the brand muscle and product portfolio to back you up.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Virtual Distributor Partnerships. Build trust with buyers, sales managers, and DSRs through consistent, high-quality phone and video engagement.
- Sales Strategy. Develop and execute annual and quarterly plans that hit volume, revenue, and margin goals across your distributor accounts.
- Video Demos & Virtual Selling. Run polished product demos and pitch meetings over Zoom, Teams, or whatever the customer uses - and make them as compelling as an in-person walk-through.
- DSR Training. Deliver virtual training sessions that equip distributor sales teams to confidently sell our line every day.
- New Business Development. Prospect, qualify, and close new distributor accounts and placements through outbound calls, video meetings, and digital outreach.
- Market Intelligence. Track competitor moves, pricing shifts, and industry trends - and feed that intel back to leadership.
- Strategic Travel. Travel <50% for trade shows, key distributor visits, and high-impact customer meetings. Quality over quantity.
- Clean Pipeline. Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and report against KPIs that drive the business forward.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years of sales experience in foodservice distribution, food brokerage, or as a manufacturer's rep - virtual or inside sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build and maintain real relationships across procurement, sales, and operations - without always being in the room
- Confidence and polish on video - you can run a demo, a pitch, or a training session over Zoom/Teams as effectively as in person
- Experience managing annual sales plans, distributor program reviews, and KPI-driven performance tracking
- Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication - clear, persuasive, and quick on email and phone
- Self-direction and time management - you can run a productive day from a desk without anyone watching the clock
- Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related (equivalent experience welcome)
- Comfort representing BGD Promo at trade shows and in-person customer meetings (10–20% travel)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

THE LOGISTICS
This roles home office is in our Baltimore, MD location, with the majority of selling activity conducted virtually (phone, video, email, and CRM). Travel is less than 50% - for trade shows, key distributor visits, and high-priority customer meetings. Schedule flexibility is required to support occasional events and customer demands outside standard hours. PPE (safety glasses and closed-toe shoes at minimum) is required during plant or warehouse visits.
