We are seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Five-Star resort.
Role Summary:
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for leading and collaborating with food and beverage/culinary management team and hotel staff to ensure the successful operation while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility. The F&B Manager is an ambassador for Eau Resort and Spa's values and beliefs, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for guests and staff alike.
This role is a flexible position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and nights.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Minimum 3 years luxury management experience.
- Food Handling Certificate.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
- Prior experience in 4/5 Diamond, 4/5 Star restaurant(s)
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
Desirable:
- Associates degree in hospitality, business or food and beverage
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
- Any previous Culinary training.
- Certification in alcoholic awareness program.
- Certification in C.P.R.
- Computer training.
Essential Skills:
- Ability to understand guests' service needs.
- Ability to prioritize and organize service requirements at all tables in assigned station.
- Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
- Ability to focus attention on details.
- Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
- Ability to access and input information into P.O.S. system.
- Ability to direct timing and performance of Servers, Food Runners and Server Attendants in providing quality service to guests within assigned station.
- Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
- Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests.
- Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Basic wine knowledge
