The Role
The Food & Beverage Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial food and beverage equipment to ensure reliable operation, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong technical skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain food and beverage equipment including (but not limited to):
Coffee and espresso machines
Fountain beverage systems
Ice machines
Refrigeration equipment
Ovens, warmers, and other light commercial kitchen equipment
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Install new equipment and perform start-ups and testing
Accurately complete service reports, work orders, and documentation
Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations
Maintain service vehicles, tools, parts inventory, and safety equipment
Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety standards
Coordinate with dispatch, service managers, and parts departments as needed
Participate in on-call rotation and emergency service calls as required
