The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all dining services and food and beverage operations throughout the Club. This role leads department staff, manages budgets and financial performance, ensures exceptional member and guest experiences, and supports the Club s strategic goals through strong operational leadership and service excellence.
The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional with experience in fine dining, staff development, cost controls, and high-end food and beverage operations.

Oversee all food and beverage operations throughout the Club.
Ensure outstanding service standards are consistently maintained.
Greet members and guests and oversee service quality on a regular basis.
Establish, update, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
Ensure reservation systems are accurate and effective.
Monitor cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance of dining rooms, beverage equipment, and facilities.
Implement and monitor sanitation and cleaning schedules.
Develop and manage departmental budgets.
Monitor costs and maintain profitability objectives.
Ensure proper cash handling, check controls, tip reporting, and daily sales analysis.
Review and approve invoices before submission to Accounting.
Oversee inventory management and reconciliation.
Maintain accurate records of food covers, event activity, house counts, and business volumes.
Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of point-of-sale and member revenue systems.
Hire, train, coach, schedule, and supervise food and beverage staff.
Manage staffing plans and long-range labor needs.
Lead onboarding, orientation, and professional development programs.
Monitor employee performance and labor costs.
Ensure compliance with Club policies and procedures.
Foster a positive, professional, service-focused culture.
Assist with menu development, pricing strategies, and beverage programming.
Develop wine lists and beverage sales initiatives.
Evaluate new products and purchasing opportunities.
Monitor purchasing and receiving procedures for quality, pricing, and consistency.
Review food preparation and presentation standards to maximize member satisfaction and control costs.
Conduct periodic china, glassware, silverware, and inventory audits.
Respond to member and guest concerns and resolve issues professionally.
Work closely with Club leadership to ensure high levels of member satisfaction.
Support marketing initiatives, promotions, special events, and banquet operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business partners.
Participate on Club committees as needed.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain food safety and alcohol service standards.
Provide and document employee safety training.
Ensure all operational procedures for revenue, cost control, and risk management are followed.
Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred; or
Five or more years of food and beverage management experience, including at least three years in a comparable fine dining environment.
Strong understanding of food and beverage cost controls and operating procedures.
Experience with menu development and beverage programs.
Knowledge of wine, spirits, and bar operations.
Experience with point-of-sale systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and presentation.
Proven ability to build, train, and motivate teams.
Ability to perform effectively during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Food Safety Certification

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
