Job Description Summary
The F&B Intern is responsible for learning the overall operation of The Chase Club, Pool/Patio Service, Room Service and Banquet events. Other duties include learning about food and beverage costs control, menu concept development, sales promotions, employee training, payroll, and managing talent in The Chase Club.
Job Description
Operational/Functional
- Maintain budgeted cost for The Chase Club.
- Conduct inventories and maintain par stocks.
- Direct menu development.
- Organize and execute special events and promotions.
- Ensure all Local and Federal alcohol and tobacco laws are adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation laws and uphold cleanliness standards.
- Coach and counsel as needed.
- Ensure superior guest satisfaction.
- Directly supervises Servers, Bar Backs, Host/Hostesses, and Bartenders in the Outlet.
- Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving conflicts.
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

Qualifications and Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - 1-2 years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
- Basic bartending skills
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and coworkers
- Ability to compute basic math calculations.
- Working knowledge of Micros, Excel & Word
- Familiarity with Food and Beverage controls.
- Track record of delivering exceptional guest and client experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrable expertise in analysis and action-taking
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be flexible to work variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays.
- Must be flexible to work variable shifts (days, nights, overnights).
- Ten to twelve-hour shifts are sometimes required.

Pay Range
Pay Rate $19.00/hr. plus tips. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific experience/overall experience.
