You clock in for second shift, greet your crew, and step up to a precise piece of finishing equipment that turns flat sheets into brand-building folding cartons. You review the job ticket, stage materials, and run a clean setup so the feeder, glue system, plow and fold plates, compression, and pack station all work in sync. As the line speeds up, you fine-tune glue patterns and scores, monitor automated inspection, and keep quality razor sharp—because speed, consistency, and craftsmanship define the work you love.

What You’ll Handle

• Full setup and operation of folding gluer equipment, including feeder, glue system, plow/fold plates, compression, pack station, and in-line quality inspection systems.
• Adjustment for fold sequence, glue application, paperboard caliper, and scoring alignment to meet specifications and maintain throughput.
• Configuration and operation of automated and computer-controlled inspection for quality assurance.
• In-process quality checks with timely corrections to protect accuracy and product integrity.
• Routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs to sustain uptime.
• Reading job tickets, verifying schedules, tracking counts, and maintaining accurate inventory.
• Post-run cleanup and keeping a tidy, safe, and compliant work area.
• Following safety standards and contributing to continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Experience operating folding gluer equipment in printing, packaging, or folding cartons (preferred).
• Hands-on time with Bobst or comparable folding-gluer platforms (highly preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skill for both quality and mechanical issues.
• Working knowledge of glue systems, scoring, folding sequences, and carton construction.
• Ability to read job tickets/layouts and use measurement tools (calipers, rulers, gauges).
• Comfort with shop math, measurements, and conversions.
• Attention to detail, strong communication, and collaborative mindset.
• Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; high school diploma or equivalent.
