We are actively seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Operator to join our production team in Peachtree, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating folder/gluer equipment within the folding carton sector of the food packaging industry. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet high standards of quality and safety.
Operate and fine-tune folder/gluer machinery to meet precise job specifications.
Set up, adjust, and monitor machines for optimal feeding, folding, gluing, and delivery of cartons.
Perform quick, accurate make-readies and resolve issues during production to ensure efficiency and product quality.
Oversee and guide general technicians assisting on the equipment.
Troubleshoot and clear jams while maintaining speed and consistency.
Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to customer expectations.
Complete all required quality checklists and ensure documentation is accurate.
Support and uphold ISO standards and quality control objectives.
Adhere strictly to OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and cleanliness protocols.
Follow all safety procedures including proper use of PPE and safe handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area using company safety and lifting equipment.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and leadership to maintain workflow.
Accept and apply direction and feedback from supervisors.
Foster a positive, cooperative team environment.
Motivate and assist crew members to improve work performance and quality.
Conduct team meetings and communicate expectations and production goals.
Assist with training and cross-training team members as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by department or shift leads.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years experience operating Folder/Gluer equipment in the food packaging industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer literacy and math skills for measuring, weighing, and calculating percentages.
Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and reaching required.
Frequent lifting of materials over 30 lbs.
Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
Must be able to work flexible hours, rotate shifts, and commit to overtime when necessary.
Day, evening, or rotating shifts depending on production needs.
Must be available for more than 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week if required.
