Seeking a Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Consultant to join a Failure Analysis lab in Cupertino/Sunnyvale, CA on a W2 contract.
- Responsible for developing, characterizing, and analyzing next-generation materials and products, including TEM lamella preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical issues, perform process development, R&D, and reliability testing.
- Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience with Electron microscopy, especially Dual Beam FIB/SEM and FIB prep for TEM.
- Proficiency with microscopy tools, EDS, and software like Oxford Aztec and Image J is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Willingness to learn new techniques such as STEM inverted prep and large area TEM sample prep.
Ideal candidates possess strong problem-solving skills, a creative approach to technical challenges, and a robust FIB background.
