FIFO, Forklift, High School Diploma, Manufacturing, Material Moving
Summary:
This role is responsible for functioning as part of a team to meet production goals. This position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.
- 3rd Shift Schedule is Monday - Saturday, 9:30PM - 6:00AM.*
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate all manufacturing parameters relating to the safe, efficient production of Silicone foam
- Perform all duties related to inventory and transporting materials
- Responsible for safe disposal of scrap and waste
- Assure that a sufficient quantity of raw material base is available to meet daily production demands
- First In/First Out (FIFO) maintenance
- Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping
- Identify and communicate quality issues and inventory discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 1+ years relevant manufacturing experience
- Forklift certified or ability to become certified
- Mechanical aptitude
