    Description

    NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a multi-state dealership organization to find a Family and Medical Leave Administrator. An ideal candidate will have strong experience administering FMLA, ADA accommodations, Workers’ Compensation, disability leave, military leave, and other protected leave programs in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. This role will serve as a leave management subject matter expert, supporting employees and managers while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
    • 3–5 years of experience administering FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and employee leave programs
    • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws related to leave administration
    • Experience using HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now
    • Experience managing confidential employee information
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel


    Preferred:

    • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
    • Multi-state leave administration experience
    • Experience working with third-party leave administrators
    • Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
    • Experience with HRIS reporting and leave documentation
