Role Snapshot
As a Fluid Dynamics Applications Specialist, you’ll design and implement flow control strategies that optimize manufacturing operations and elevate product performance. You’ll be a trusted advisor to internal teams and customers, providing guidance, documentation, and training that drives adoption and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and roll out flow control applications that improve throughput, quality, and reliability.
- Work cross-functionally to identify root causes, evaluate options, and implement corrective actions.
- Run feasibility assessments, simulations, and performance tests for valve, actuator, and control configurations.
- Provide timely technical assistance and knowledge sharing to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Author specifications, reports, and presentations that stand up to technical scrutiny.
- Monitor and interpret industry trends, standards, and new technologies in flow control.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in process engineering and applying flow control solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication; collaborative and customer-centric.
- Comfort operating independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and best practices for flow control systems.
