FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

Location: Childrens Hospital of Colorado - 1811 Plaza Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirement: Prior floor care experience is required.

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $21.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surfaces.
• Uses the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering, including shampooing, damp surface extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
