Responsibilities:
The Environmental Services Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall cleaning of all areas throughout the medical campus to assure that the facility is in compliance with all expectations and standards related to patient safety, customer satisfaction and regulatory requirements. To achieve this purpose, the floor technicians are required to be proficient in the maintaining of all types hard floor, carpeted surfaces and other related environmental surfaces such as walls, stairs, furnishings and ceilings utilizing cleaning equipment and tools specific to task.
Floor technicians are routinely required to perform additional tasks such as waste removal, furniture movement, special event set ups and flood/spill cleanup. The external grounds of the campus are included in cleaning responsibilities requiring routine sweeping, removal of debris and waste. All Floor Technicians are cross-trained to perform Service Technician responsibilities.
Qualifications:
-High School transcript showing completion of a minimum of 9th grade or successful completion of literacy assessment.
-Prior Floor Technician or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
