Key Responsibilities Site Preparation: Demolish, remove, and safely dispose of old carpets, hardwood, or tile flooring.Subfloor Prep: Scrape, sand, sweep, and patch subfloors to build a smooth, level base.Material Handling: Load, unload, and stage heavy bundles of flooring and equipment safely.Installation Support: Measure, cut, and layout materials under the direct supervision of the lead installer.Finishing Touches: Mix and apply mortars, grouts, sealants, adhesives, or baseboard trim as directed.Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure team safety and customer satisfaction.Tool Care: Maintain, clean, and securely store hand and power tools at the end of each shift. Required Qualifications & SkillsPhysical Stamina: Capable of regularly lifting 50 to 75 lbs and working comfortably on your knees or feet for long periods.Dependability: Proven history of punctual arrival, focus, and a strong work ethic.Basic Math Skills: Competency using a tape measure and calculating basic area dimensions.Instruction Follower: Ability to quickly absorb oral directions, safety layouts, and blueprinted steps.Reliable Transport: Valid driver s license and dependable transit to travel between varying local job sites.Tool Familiarity: Basic comfort handling hammer types, utility knives, and minor power tools is preferred. Working Conditions Environment: Active indoor and outdoor construction fields or occupied residential homes.Equipment: Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including knee pads, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots. Shift: 7: 00AM - 3: 30PM and 1: 30PM -9: 00PM Weekend availability a must. CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED
