If you have at least 3 years of customer service experience along with 1 year of healthcare experience or medical schooling and have been looking for an opportunity to join Sentara, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
This FLOAT position offers a unique opportunity to support 10 clinics throughout the Charlottesville area, allowing you to expand your skills, gain exposure to multiple specialties and teams, and continue growing within the organization. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, learning, and building connections across multiple practices.
Position Details:
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday day shift
• FLOAT role supporting multiple clinic locations throughout Charlottesville

Job Description
As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions.
