    Webster Public Schools is seeking a skilled and experienced Float Nurse Assistant at Park Avenue Elementary School. The Float Nurse Assistant assist in the care of students and staff.

    DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Maintains a positive, cooperative and productive working relationship with staff, students and parents Provides patients and families with courteous and tactful communication Provides nursing care to students and staff under the direction of the Certified and Licensed School Nurse Documents assessments and treatments daily of student's visits into the school nurse documentation system Assists Certified and Licensed Nurse in health screenings (hearing, vision, height/weight, postural) Assists Certified and Licensed School Nurse in recording immunizations in accordance with state and district regulations Covers health office or other nursing job assignments, including transportation in case of nursing absence. Demonstrates flexibility to work across all the district, adjusting location and daily schedule as needed to support building-specific needs Oversees activities / services for the Pregnant-parenting Teen (PPT) students in need of services Maintains confidentiality about all aspects of students and staff performance and written and oral records Demonstrates a respect for the legal and human rights of students, staff and parents Follows health and safety procedures established by the district Arrives and departs punctually, notifying appropriate personnel about absences and coverage Demonstrates loyalty, dependability, integrity and other ethical standards Ability to read, reason and understand policies and procedures and related information and to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions Carries out other related duties and responsibilities at the request of any and all district administrators
