The Boeing Company is looking for a Flight Test Engineering Manager to join Boeings Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) team in Oklahoma City, OK. In joining this team, you will be part of an outstanding team of engineers and managers supporting the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) portfolios.

This position is primarily 1st shift; alternate or extended shifts may be required to support test program objectives. Occasional travel is required for this position.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Lead employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Test & Evaluation
- Manage, develop, and motivate team members
- Provide leadership in the areas of test program development and integration, scheduling and execution, trade studies, departmental processes/policies and setting operational goals
- Assess and lead resolution of issues impacting test program progress, including root cause corrective action to prevent recurrence
- Utilize operational skills to raise team performance and meet cost, schedule and quality commitments
- Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, earned value metrics and performance measures
- Build relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, suppliers, direct reports and other stakeholders
- Provide guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering job classification
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- 3+ years of experience building strong business partner relationships
- Experience leading people in a technical environment as a team lead or manager
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Capable of traveling up to 30% of the time
- Experience working on the Airborne Warning and Control Systems (AWACS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- Experience with flight test, flight operations, or system test
- Experience leading or managing Military projects and/or teams
