The Registered Professional Nurse plays a vital role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the RN assesses patient needs, identifies changes in health status, develops and implements evidence-based nursing interventions, and evaluates outcomes to ensure the highest quality of care.

In this role, the Registered Nurse provides leadership by supervising and delegating care to Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, coordinating efforts across disciplines, and fostering a supportive, professional practice environment. Qualifications

Professional Nursing Experience Requirements:
Adult/Pediatric Transport Position Requirements:
Current EMT-Paramedic certification in the state of Florida.
Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), ENPC, PEPP, or equivalent
ITLS, PHTLS, or TNCC
CFRN, CCRN, or CEN certification required within two years of hire.
Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
Must have completed a Florida-approved EVOC driving course or be eligible to attend EVOC.
Neonatal/Pediatric Transport Position Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated clinical skills in:
Pre-hospital care
Emergency nursing
Intensive care nursing
Specialty nursing board certification (CFRN, CCRN, or CEN) at time of hire preferred.
Instructor status preferred in:
ACLS
PALS
PHTLS
AMCCC and NRP certifications preferred at time of hire.
