Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Flight Acquisition Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of flight acquisition for our company, including negotiating contracts, developing relationships with airlines, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of flights for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with airlines to negotiate favorable contracts for flight acquisition.
Monitor flight prices and availability to ensure cost-effective and timely booking of flights.
Collaborate with travel agencies and online booking platforms to secure the best deals for flights.
Manage all aspects of flight booking, including ticketing, seat selection, and itinerary changes.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient and cost-effective flight acquisition.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment of flight expenses.
Provide regular reports and analysis on flight acquisition costs and trends.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in airline policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight acquisition or airline management.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in using online booking platforms and travel management systems.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of airline industry regulations and policies.
Experience in managing a team is a plus.
