SURESTAFF is immediately hiring (Bilingual OR Spanish only) Machine Operators for a client in Carrollton, TX. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18 - $20 an hour DOE as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:
- Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Blend and test inks, stains, and solvents according to types of material being printed and work order specifications.
- Filling ink, calibrating the machine, and feeding paper or textiles into it.
- Adjusting the speed, ink flow, and pressure tolerances, and installing plates, rollers, inks, and dies.
- Making adjustment during the printing run to maintain quality and meet job order requirements.
- Notifying supervision of needed repairs and replacements parts, and ensuring the equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Position entails standing for long periods of time and lifting 50lbs.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Operator:
- Minimum 2 years of Machine Operating experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
- Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
- Understanding of multi-color printing processes.
- They should also be able to read job printing orders accurately and follow their specifications.
