Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 10 AM to 7 PM
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED FOR FLEX TEAM MATERIALS HANDLER:
- General warehouse duties such as, but not limited to: loading and unloading of trucks, make sure all merchandise is labeled with a destination using a scan gun properly, stage merchandise in correct area within the warehouse in a timely fashion, assembly/disassembly of merchandise, keep warehouse area clean, removing trash from work area, sweeping work area, inspect merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections.
- Loading customer merchandise, make all necessary copies and paperwork and obtain customer signatures on waivers, knowledge of correct ticket procedures gathering empty boxes and breaking them down, sweeping warehouse.
- Move items vehicles.
- Checking for shortages through auditing the manifest.
- Use proper procedures when working with knives, flat carts, and lifting merchandise.
- Check daily closing assignments and responsibilities.
- Use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers.
- Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR FLEX TEAM MATERIALS HANDLER: Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs.; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; ability to work in a face paced environment; merchandise handling, and safety procedures; must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. constantly to move objects.
