Safety isn't something that can be an afterthought when you have hundreds of vehicles on the road every day. At American Pest, we're looking for someone who takes that responsibility seriously. Someone who understands that safe driving habits, accountability, training, and consistency don't just happen by accident.

We're hiring a Fleet & Safety Compliance Manager to help lead and strengthen our fleet safety efforts across the organization. This role is for someone who is comfortable having difficult conversations when necessary, holding standards, and working closely with operations leadership to reduce risk and improve driver performance over time. We want someone who believes small issues become big problems when they're ignored and who enjoys building systems and habits that keep people safer in the long run. If you believe a safety program is not just a list of boxes to check and should be active, visible, and taken seriously, we'd like to talk with you.

What You'll Get...We want to help our employees build a great career and a great future. At American Pest, you'll have access to these great benefits!

Health and Well-being:

  • Cigna medical, dental, and vision insurance options, including EPO & PPO
  • Prescription drug program
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical and childcare expenses
  • Health Savings Plans (HSA) available with qualified plans

Financial Security:

  • Competitive salary with bonus potential
  • 401(k) Savings Plans (Traditional & Roth)
  • Life insurance and short-term disability 100% company paid (with options to buy up)
  • Long-term disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity insurance options

Work/Life Balance:

  • Enjoy stable, year-round employment with opportunities for growth
  • A take-home company vehicle for field positions
  • Paid time off and eight paid holidays
  • Opportunities for advancement

What You'll Do...As the Fleet & Safety Compliance Manager, you'll oversee and continuously improve our fleet safety program across multiple locations, working closely with field leadership to promote safe driving habits, reduce preventable incidents, and maintain strong operational standards. You'll investigate accidents and driving concerns, review telematics and driving score data, lead safety training efforts, and help ensure accountability across the organization.

You'll also support compliance efforts related to fleet safety, warehouse safety, and regulatory requirements while helping identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Just as important, you'll serve as a visible resource and partner to leadership and field teams, helping reinforce a culture where safety is not on the back burner but is treated as an everyday responsibility.

Who You Are...What does it take to be a successful Fleet & Safety Compliance Manager at American Pest? For starters, you'll have 5+ years of combined experience in fleet safety, transportation safety, compliance, or a related field. You'll also have...

  • An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Safety Management, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent hands-on experience in fleet safety, transportation, or field operations
  • Experience with telematics, fleet management systems, or safety tracking tools (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a service-based or field operations environment (preferred)
  • Experience managing or supporting driver safety programs, including accident investigation, training, and compliance
  • A working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and applicable state regulations
  • Experience analyzing safety data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions
  • A strong ability to influence and hold others accountable, including field employees and operational leadership
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs for field-based teams
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across operations, HR, and leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel for tracking and reporting
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
