Build Your Career with Ashley Furniture — Where Innovation Meets Comfort

At Ashley, we inspire the love of home. We’re the world’s largest home furnishings manufacturer, united by a solutions-first mindset and relentless drive to elevate the customer experience. We challenge the status quo, invest in our people, and grow future leaders.

Already part of Team Ashley? Current employees should apply through the internal UKG job board.

A Day in the Life

It’s 6:05 PM on a busy Tuesday. A driver calls in: a tractor has thrown a fault code outside Kansas City. You answer, steady and focused. Within minutes you’ve walked the driver through our breakdown steps, lined up the nearest certified vendor, arranged a tow, and secured a rental to keep freight moving. You update the warranty details, flag the invoice for audit, and note every detail for maintenance follow-up. Another driver calls—new issue, same calm coordination. That’s the rhythm of this role.

What You’ll Own

  • Driver support: Receive and triage calls from drivers; explain procedures and guide them through each step of the breakdown process.
  • Vendor orchestration: Locate and schedule repair facilities; dispatch towing when necessary; select the right vendor for the repair.
  • Equipment continuity: Arrange rentals to minimize disruption and keep loads on schedule.
  • Administrative precision: Maintain complete, accurate incident records; update warranty information; review and audit invoices for billing accuracy.
  • Team contribution: Participate in meetings and training; assist with onboarding peers; provide backup as needed; complete special projects.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience preferred.

Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
  • Pay: $18 per hour, plus shift differential

Work Environment

Based in an active manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise, temperature fluctuations, and material handling equipment in operation. Expect periods of standing or walking on concrete and the use of PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed boots). It’s a fast-paced, time- and safety-sensitive setting with varied shift schedules aligned to production and distribution needs.

Benefits

  • Health, Dental, Vision, and Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Time Off that grows with tenure
  • Generous employee discount on home furnishings
  • Professional development and tuition assistance
  • Ashley Wellness Centers (location-specific)
  • 401(k) and Profit Sharing
  • Life Insurance

Our Values in Action

  • Honesty & Integrity: Lead with ethics, discretion, and accuracy.
  • Dirty Fingernails Ownership: Own outcomes, verify details, and see work through.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evolve tools and processes; turn learnings into standards.
  • Growth & Results: Keep work aligned to enterprise priorities and impact.
  • Culture of Leadership: Influence by example; build trust across teams.
  • Customer-Centric & Boundaryless: Partner across silos to serve the whole business.
  • Operational Excellence: Bring discipline, clarity, and rigor to execution.
