ACCOUNTABILITIES

*All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise*

  • Coordinates all parts requests from Fleet Mechanics within budget parameters, in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Maintains accurate and updated inventory control par levels in conjunction with established standards. Maintains ProMedica tool inventory.
  • Processes all daily parts usage to the specific vehicle and cost center within the Operative IQ system. Ensures all parts are correctly charged to the proper cost center.
  • Reviews weekly inventory usage and reports any variances to the Support Supervisor.
  • Creates weekly par level replacement requisitions for approval.
  • Submits any daily special order or out of stock parts issues to the Support Supervisor.
  • Coordinates parts, warranties, and core charge processes where needed.
  • Participates in weekly team meeting to enhance communications.
  • Maintains the parts and storage areas in an organized and clean condition.
  • Performs duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills: Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs, use inventory management systems, and apply basic math skills.

Years of Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of automotive counter parts experience.

License: N/A

Certification: N/A

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Skills: Operative IQ or similar inventory program experience.

Years of Experience: Two years (2) of current automotive counter parts experience.

License: N/A

Certification: N/A

WORKING CONDITIONS

Personal Protective Equipment: N/A

Physical Demands: Regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, stoop, walk, use hands, hear, and talk. Ability to lift and move parts, work in varying temperatures, and work in small spaces.
