Position Overview

zTrip is seeking a motivated and dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician I to join our growing maintenance team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with basic mechanical experience who are eager to develop their skills while helping maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient fleet. Working alongside experienced mechanics, you will assist with preventative maintenance, inspections, tire service, and general vehicle repairs that keep our transportation operations running smoothly.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift
• Weekend availability required as business needs dictate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
• Complete oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and basic mechanical repairs
• Repair and replace tires as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to complete repairs efficiently
• Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical, automotive, or related maintenance experience preferred
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair practices
• Ability to repair and replace tires
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
