Cass Clay Creamery is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily shop operations and oversee mechanics responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on DFA-owned equipment. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and manage daily/weekly maintenance schedules; prioritize workload to meet operational needs.
- Supervise mechanics to ensure high-quality, timely repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor shop financials, including labor, parts, and inventory; control costs and approve expenses within authority.
- Review DVIRs and manage documentation using fleet management systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policy, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
- Inspect completed repairs for quality and safety compliance.
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and quality service.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and assist with incident investigations.
- Oversee shop organization and cleanliness.
- Manage staff scheduling, timecards, hiring, training, and performance management.
