Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Dispatcher:

Fleet Coordination & Dispatch Operations

• Coordinate daily transportation assignments to maximize efficiency and service reliability
• Monitor driver activity and fleet performance in real time
• Adjust routes and schedules as needed to accommodate operational demands
• Communicate trip details, route changes, and service updates to drivers
• Ensure timely passenger pickups and effective trip management

Driver & Customer Support

• Serve as a primary point of communication between drivers, customers, and operations teams
• Provide drivers with route assistance, schedule updates, and operational support
• Address customer inquiries and transportation concerns professionally and efficiently
• Resolve service issues quickly while maintaining a positive customer experience

Administrative & Operational Duties

• Maintain accurate dispatch records and operational documentation
• Track transportation activity and assist with daily reporting requirements
• Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with management and team members to support operational goals

Qualifications of a Fleet Dispatcher:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two or more years of customer service, dispatch, call center, logistics, or transportation experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with dispatching, scheduling, fleet management, or transportation operations is a plus
