Responsible for leading and executing fleet asset strategy under the direction of the Director of Fleet across a diverse portfolio of on-road and off-road heavy civil equipment. This role focuses on asset acquisition, lifecycle planning, valuation, location tracking, deployment, disposal, and understanding equipment build specifications across a broad range of fleet assets, ensuring optimal total cost of ownership and return on capital. The position serves as the system of record for where assets are, their status, and their financial performance, while also helping shape broader fleet decisions through data, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration. This role partners directly with the Director of Fleet to refine asset strategies, support capital planning, and drive innovation by evaluating alternative ownership models such as renting, leasing, and hybrid capital approaches. While procurement is a major focus, the role also requires broader strategic and operational judgment across the fleet portfolio, including the ability to work effectively with shop, maintenance, and compliance stakeholders.
